Explore the World’s Largest Teddy Bear Museum

Wish for a visit to the earliest Teddy Bear Museum in Hampshire, Britain, or the most famous one on Jeju, Korea? Here comes your third choice: the world’s largest Teddy Bear Museum in Chengdu.

Open in November of 2012, the museum has been among the most popular destinations for family day in Chengdu. The 10,000 square meters place houses more than 1,000 teddy bears.

The best part is that the bears are posed in a variety of displays recreating historic moments and art works such as the first bear on the moon, mermaid bears and bears dressed as the Beatles. Besides, the museum features an area showcasing Chinese culture and Chengdu local practices and customs. Want to learn about raising pandas but don’t have time for a trip to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base? Why not see what teddy bear dioramas can teach you? There are also bears as Terracotta Warriors.
