The Changbai Mountain Range borders between China and North Korea. It is believed to be the mythical birthplace of the ancestors of the Manchu state and the Chinese Qing Dynasty’s founder. The highlight is Heaven Lake, a crater lake laying within a caldera; don’t forget the legend of Heaven Lake Monster living in the deepest lake in China, which was recorded in historical books and also witnessed and photographed accidentally in modern times.
